It’s Spring again… Well almost. That time of year when things start to thaw out and the juices start flowing. Lacrosse is no different. Hopefully you’re currently spending Sundays indoors with us at Socceroof, keeping your stick skills sharp. In case you haven’t though, we’ll tighten you up, come March! Join us as we embark on our 7th Spring season of growing the game of lacrosse in Brooklyn.
Brooklyn Lacrosse Club practice sessions will take place at Boys & Girls High School on Sundays (8a-2p) for boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 19. Exact scheduling for age groups is here.
Pricing for the Spring is $200 for 14 Sunday sessions between March 10 and June 9. Select Team players start March 5 and get 2 additional practices during the week (Tuesdays and Saturdays in addition to Sunday). The Select Teams have a different pricing structure, which is detailed in the Select Teams description.
All registered players will receive a full uniform (reversible jersey and shorts) and a US Lacrosse membership, which lasts for one full year. The US Lacrosse membership provides primary insurance (or secondary insurance, if a player is already insured), access to great lacrosse resources made available on US Lacrosse’s website, and a 1-year subscription to US Lacrosse magazine.
If you are new to the game, be sure to visit here for our equipment guidelines.
The Spring program invites the following age groups to register:
Peewees (co-ed 3-6 year olds)
Girls U8, U10, U12, U14, U19
Boys U8, U10, U12, U12 Select, U13 Select, U14, U19
*Select teams require tryouts.
NOTE: Please register all of the adults that will need to receive communication from us. This has been an issue in the past, where one parent creates an account, signs up the child, and the other parent does not receive important scheduling emails. Please register all adults that need to know about Brooklyn Lacrosse's schedule.
As always, please contact us with any questions. Also, please consider following us on the social media channels below.
Please see our website for equipment requirements (http://www.brooklynlacrosse.org/equipment/)
