Spring 2014 Registration Open
On the heels of our record setting Fall session, Brooklyn Lacrosse is proud to open up registration for what promises to be an amazing Spring 2014 season.
Our Spring 2014 Season will begin with weekend gym sessions in February on the weekends, followed by our outdoor season from the first weekend in March through mid-June. Our program is open to boys and girls from Pre-k to 12th Grade, and beginners are most certainly welcome.
Our $99 fee includes:
- US Lacrosse Membership
- Game Uniform
As is customary with NYC fields, we will not be sure of our field locations and timeslots until mid-January. Once notified, if you find that the location/time is not workable by you, Brooklyn Lacrosse will issue a full refund.
During registration, you will be asked about 2 boys teams options for players in grades 1-8. Please see the definition of these options below.
Brooklyn Lacrosse is proud to offer 2 options for Boys 1st through 8th grade registration for our Spring 2014 Season
BLC Black: This team will feature 2 practices a week, and will be comprised of 22 players who have lacrosse experience or demonstrate exceptional athletic skill, coupled with an intense desire to learn. This team will play at regional tournaments (Long Island, Westchester, NJ, CT), and will focus on competing at the upper levels of youth lacrosse in the area. Participants on the BLC Black team agree to make lacrosse their primary spring sport. Participation on other teams/sports/clubs must be secondary to BLC Black Team commitments.
BLC White: This team will consist of players new to lacrosse and also those developing their skills. This team will practice once a week, and play a majority of its games locally. This team's focus will be on developing both individual as well as team skills, and will always strive to compete with similarly skilled local lacrosse programs.
We will be using indoor gym sessions in February to evaluate players. Players initially on the White team who desire to move up to the Black Team will be evaluated as their skills improve. Depending on team size, players may be asked to practice with the Black Team while still playing games with the White Team.
As always, please contact us with any questions at 917 715-2524 or by using the form below
Please fill out and sign before arriving at your first practice.
