The history of the Brooklyn Lacrosse Club? You're helping to create it.

The Brooklyn Lacrosse Club was founded in Spring 2012 by coaches and parents looking to create a lacrosse experience unique to Brooklyn. Many of us have worked for many years at other youth sports organizations, but were drawn together by the idea of creating an organization that stressed fundamental development, visionary leadership, and a mission to bring the game to neighborhoods that have never seen lacrosse.

Creating a program from the ground up has been harrowing, but ultimately the most rewarding thing many of us has ever had in youth sports. To start with a clean slate in developing our program has allowed us to think way outside of any constraints that existing organizations may have.

Ultimately, this about the love of this sport and the love of our children. We are honored that you have stopped to take a look.
